Our Poultry
These are examples of the breeds of chickens, ducks, geese, pheasants and peafowl and turkeys that we raise.

These are three of our chickens.

This is a New Hampshire Red hen.  Our hens are for rent for city people who would like hens scratching in their garden for the summer.  It's $20 for three hens per month (plus a refundable $20/hen deposit).

Ducks
These are some of our ducks.  We have mostly Magpie and Runner ducks.  The Magpies came from Holderread's in Oregon.  Our ducks eat slugs very well and regularly produce eggs for us.

Geese
Welsummers
This is a photo of two of our geese.  A Pilgrim on the left and a Toulouse on the right.  The geese are great watch animals and produce quite large eggs!

Red golden pheasant rooster
These are some of our Welsummer hens.  They are beautiful golden hens that lay dark chocolate brown eggs.

We also have started raising pheasants.  We hatched all of them from eggs and have jumbo and regular ringnecks, black melanistic mutants and a red golden rooster.  We plan on breeding them to hatch more next spring.
Peacock
Turkey
This is our India Blue cross peacock.  We also have a Green and Silver Pied cross epahen.  We're hoping they'll start producing fertile eggs next spring.
This is our bronze turkey.  He is gorgeous to watch strut around and gobble so he has developed pet status on our farm.

We live near Sedro Woolley, about one hour north of Seattle, WA.  You can reach us by our e-mail at donnawh@earthlink.net.
