Our Highland  and Dexter Cattle
		These are our Highland and Dexter cattle.  They are hardy cows with great horns and gorgeous colors.  They produce excellent tasty, low-fat beef.  We are located in Skagit County, WA.
		This is Dana, the heifer calf born from Hana and Broadstone in July 2004.  CLICK on a photo for an enlargement.			This is a more recent photo of Dana.  She's growing well and has nice conformation.  We are breeding her to Roscoe for a Highland-Dexter cross calf.  She's due November 2007. 		This is our new Dexter bull calf we named Roscoe.  He is from Charlee Townsend of Oakville, WA.  We are going to cross him with our Highland cows to try to get a cross-breed that has good quality meat but a more docile disposition. CLICK on the photo for an enlargement.
					This is our bull calf Leroy born November 25th to our black Dexter bull Roscoe and our red Highland cow Dana.  We plan on keeping him for ourselves.
		These are twin calves born to our Highland cow Hana and our Dexter bull Roscoe.  There's a black bull calf and a brown heifer calf.  The heifer calf may be a free-martin.  They seem to be doing well.  SOLD!
					This is one of the Dexter-Highland cross twin calves.  This is the male calf Tom named Cooter.  He has a gorgeous reddish-brown color, slightly long hair and is starting to grow horns.  SOLD!
		This is the other Dexter-Highland twin calf.  She is a little darker than her brother and slightly less hair and horn growth.  Since she was a twin to a male calf she is most likely a free martin and not fertile.  We are looking to sell the pair for $1200.  SOLD!  But Hana is pregnant by Roscoe again and is due March 2008.
